I don’t think we should really be calling them “evil teams” anymore, and that’s not really a bad thing, listen, don’t hate me for this, but who even said they had to be evil? What makes an evil team better than the current ones? “Well they actually have motivations” team yell are literally stans and thats kind of hilarious, and do you expect team star to be kidnapping Pokémon and ruling the world? No they are a group of outcast CHILDREN, the leaders have story, they want to change, in the dlc you can even help them change.
Team Skull are delinquents that united under the cause of wanting to cause trouble for the region they felt like had rejected them on some level (Seemingly because most of them gave up on/couldn't complete the island challenge?). Also fun thing to note, while they technically disband after the events of the main story, they end up reforming because they've already formed too much of a bond with each other and their boss too much to leave him alone and ACTUALLY go their separate ways. At least that's what I understand from what I've heard from Masters.

To me, scizor and scyther always seemed like they would be a split evolution like how gardevior and gallade are, they both look like they would be equal in place of an evolutionary line
